I’m a mom who really enjoys baking and creating yummy treats for my family. Now that four of my six kids are old enough to participate in the kitchen, we all have fun making brownies, cakes, and cookies.

Two recipes that are easy and fun to make for kids are “monkey bread” and “monkey munch”, which are definitely favorites with my monkeys!

Soft, warm, delicious Monkey Bread!

MONKEY BREAD

1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
3 (10 oz) cans of refrigerated biscuits
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter/margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of
well-greased bundt pan. Set aside. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Cut biscuits
into quarters and roll each piece in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Layer
biscuits in bundt pan. Combine brown sugar and butter, and drizzle over
dough. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, the turn out onto
a serving platter. MMMMMM!
